Relaxed Heaton House Farm Wedding Manchester
Hannah and Conor's search for a Manchester wedding photographer for their wedding brought them to me, and it was through their Heaton House Farm wedding that I experienced my first ever wedding with all-day rain. The conditions didn't dampen their spirits though, and I had the pleasure of photographing a day that was relaxed, friendly, playful and full of emotion.
Hannah and Conor's Heaton House Farm wedding was incredibly informal. I spent my morning with Hannah and the bridal party while they prepared for the big day. Everyone was in a fantastic mood, with plenty of music and laughter, and Hannah herself was very bubbly and lively.
The young girls were very sweet and obviously thrilled to be involved in such a big occasion – and as well as the laughter, there were plenty of emotional moments every now and then. It may have been raining outside, but the windows were thrown open and the preparations took place with plenty of fresh air from the beautiful family farm.
The ceremony itself was perfect. While the church was big and stately, the couple's kind and charming mood shone through. The church was relatively bright – fortunate for me – and I was given the freedom to move around discreetly, capturing the happy couple and their guests from a number of angles.
The reception took place in Heaton House Farm in Rushton Spencer, a lovely informal reception with 200 people at the wedding breakfast and an incredibly friendly atmosphere. The non-stop rain meant that the whole reception took place inside, and not only were the children running around playing, but the adults were too. And the atmosphere on the dance floor was crazy!
