Turn Your Wedding Day into a Living Legacy

It might look like a cost now—one more line on the spreadsheet, somewhere between the florist and the DJ. But the funny thing about photographs is, they age in reverse.

Book now

The older they get, the more valuable they become. What starts as an image turns into memory, then myth, then proof that it all really happened—that the cake was too sweet, your uncle danced like a madman, and the way you looked at each other was something not even time dared to touch.

In the end, you’re not just buying pictures. You’re bottling moments that would’ve otherwise slipped through the cracks.

"Thank you so much for making a beautiful record of our wedding. We are going to enjoy looking at these for many years to come." - Margaret and Matt

The Pricing Bit (without the fluff)

My rates are kept low for one very simple reason:

I want to be there, whether I’m your main photographer or the quiet extra shooting black and white, weaving through the day like a guest with better timing.

I never get in the way. I never stage a moment. I just get close enough to catch the truth and back off before anyone notices. I know where to stand. And more importantly, where not to.

Have questions? Check the FAQs below:

What is the booking process?

Please get in touch to see if I am available on your wedding day. Once we have discussed your plans, you can secure your date by paying the booking fee and signing the contract. You can do every step online. I am also happy to meet up and chat.

Can we meet before we book?

Of course! I am more than happy to chat about your plans over a cuppa; suggest a place and time!

Do you take posed shots?

I am happy to accommodate some group shots as these can be important documents from the wedding. I will keep this formal session as straightforward as possible. Knowing how much energy and time these can take, I recommend keeping the list down to under ten group shots.

How and when do we get our photos?

You can download images from your password-protected online gallery about three weeks after the wedding. The private gallery provides multiple viewing, downloading and print ordering options.

Can we print our photos?

You can freely print your photographs without limitation. I only ask that you don't give them to other suppliers for advertising purposes and that you don't sell them for financial profit.

Do we get colour or black and white pictures?

The photographs will be a mixture of colour and black and white unless they are requested to be black and white only (with 20% discount!). Many pictures look more exciting and have a more significant impact as monochrome, so I convert these to black and white.

Is there any additional cost?

No, there isn't. If your wedding takes place far from Edinburgh, I may require accommodation for the evening before the wedding to ensure I get to the venue on time. We can discuss how we split the expenses.
